Hike National Reserve Llanquihue & Calbuco Volcano
The Calbuco Volcano is part of the group of stratovolcanoes located in the Lakes District. This very active cone of 2.000 mts. had its last eruption on 2015 generating a big change in all the landscape around.
This incredible hike will take us very close to the crater, crossing the trails of rthe National Reserve Llanquihue, admiring the regeneration of the native forests, waterfalls, fauna and of course the impressive dome at the summit of the mountain. The trail is a medium difficulty trail of 14 kilometers, with soft ascends at the beginning and a more demanding part at the very last portion before the refugio (shelter).
If the climate permits, we will approach very close to the summit of the mountain with spectacular views over the surroundings lakes and mountains.
