Hike Llanquihue National Reserve

Interpretative Hike

(Unavailable due to Calbuco Volcano Eruption , Last April 2015 )

We will start early in the morning driving toward the coast to reach the southern side of the Calbuco volcano, where the beginning of the path is located at the entrance of the Llanquihue National Reserve. The hike will take us to one of the less explored areas of the Lake ́s District. We will have an easy/medium hike of 5 hours approximately through the solidified lava rivers of the volcano and deep in the evergreen rainforest crossing streams and waterfalls, to finally have a spectacular view to the main crater and the summit of the mountain. If time and weather permit we will approach to a very close point of the Calbuco volcano main crater.
