South Patagonia is the last frontier of the American continent. A land of wind, wilderness and stunning landscapes. During this complete and comprehensive journey we will have the chance to spot from sea birds as the Black-browed Albatross and the Antarctic Giant Petrel, to endangered waterfowl as the Ruddy-headed Goose. Specialties as the Magellanic Plover and endemics of the southern forests as the Magellanic woodpecker, Chilean hawk and the Austral Parakeet. The steppe is also home of great specialties as the Chocolated-vented Tyrant, Austral Canastero and the skulking and elusive Patagonian Tinamou. During our exploration of Tierra del Fuego we will also go for the king penguins that returned to breed in Useless bay probably after thousands of years of absence transforming this special site in a unique spot to enjoy the view of these charismatic species.

Equipment provided: Literature, field guide, birds check list, spotting scope. Extra set of binoculars available upon request. Equipment required : Sun-hat and sunscreen, comfortable shoes, water resistant clothing, bottles for water to refill. Guides: Naturalist & Ornithologist guide with International Wilderness First Responder Certification. Not included: International and Domestic flights (we can book it for you upon request), tips, insurances and any other item not specified.
