Trekking Puntiagudo 3 days

Explore this most impressive volcanic area

This active 3-days trek will take you to explore the area surroundings one of the most impressive volcanoes of the Lake District: Puntiagudo. This volcanic chimney of over 2.400 mts. high is the silent testimony of successive violent eruptions among thousand of years of what is considered today an extinct volcano.

We’ll navigate the emerald waters of the Lake Todos Los Santos, hike through mountain paths, grassland and enjoy the natural thermal waters and the friendly hospitality of the local communities of pioneers that live in this unspoiled area since the beginning of the XX century. Our adventure ends at Lake Rupanco where our vehicle will drive us back to Puerto Varas.

Destination: Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, Fundo Puntiagudo, Lake Todos Los Santos, Lake Rupanco.
Duration: 3 days, 2 nights.
Difficulty Level: Average of 6-7 hours of walking a day. Medium difficulty level.

Minimum of passengers: Trips are guaranteed to depart with a minimum of two participants

Equipment required: Waterproof gear, trekking shoes, sun protection, bug repellent, walking poles, swimsuit.
IMPORTANT: During the month of January we highly recommend wearing light colors clothing due the presence of horseflies that are attracted by dark colors.
