A day off the beaten path with a medium difficulty hike through the forests and the cliffs of the Pacific Coast of Chiloé (10 km., 6 hours).
This active hike begins in the beautiful Duhatao Bay. From here, you will walk along winding coastal cliffs that merge with lush forests. It is special for lovers of long-term trekking because it is a constant walk and any exhausting effort or slope will be rewarded with energizing views of the forest and the Chepu River.
At the end of the hike we will board a boat to navigate the mouth of the river Chepu crossing the sunken forest and disembarking in the village. After a short transfer we will get to a local family house to participate in the preparation of the typical Curanto or a home hosted lunch.
